Robert Colon is an enrolled agent with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and provides tax preparation and accounting services through Legacy Care Tax, LLC. An enrolled agent is a person who has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service by passing a three-part comprehensive IRS test covering individual and business tax return policies. Enrolled agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards. Individuals who obtain this elite status are unrestricted as to which taxpayers they can represent, what types of tax matters they can handle, and which IRS offices they can represent clients before. Mr. Colon has been employed with an accounting firm for two years and in this capacity has worked in preparing personal, corporate, sales, and payroll tax returns as well as various bookkeeping responsibilities.
Robert is also the co-founder and partner at Legacy Care Wealth, LLC which offers holistic certified financial planning services. Prior to founding Legacy Care Tax, LLC, Mr. Colon held the position of Vice-President of Wealth Management for an independent wealth management practice managing over $70 million of client assets. His responsibilities included reviewing and monitoring client accounts to identify gaps or deficiencies in their long-term financial plan. He holds a Bachelor of Arts with concentrations in Physics and Political Science from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA.
